I have posted about other accessories from Federico’s Car Care in the past, and here is another tool to add to your glove compartment: a Digital Tire Pressure Gauge. It’s ready for immediate use straight from the package, with no need to put batteries in.

This Federico’s Car Care digital tire pressure gauge is made of plastic material, with a design to fit your hands comfortably. As far as the plastic construction is concerned, you shouldn’t be throwing this around anyway; it’s not a rugged type of tool. It’s simplistic and has no complicated buttons or setup needed.

The black button that you see in the photo is what you press to turn the device on. It is not that complicated to use, and comes with usage instructions on the back of the packaging as shown below.

What I like about it is that it features an LED that lights up when you turn on the tire pressure gauge. Not only does it light up the screen where you can view the measurement readings, but the end of the nozzle also lights up a blue color to help with making the tire valve stem visible at night for ease of use.

The first time you use this, you might not get a good seal. It’s happened to me. Just make sure you press the nozzle firmly and hard against the valve stem, or you won’t be able to get a good reading and you’ll lose some air. After a few tries, you’ll get the hang of it. By the way, the readings can be converted into different measurements — psi, bar, kpa, and kg/cm2 — depending on your preference. You can switch between units when you press the black button.
