Just recently, I noticed a “chipped” nail as I was combing my hair with my fingers. I don’t know how part of my fingernail broke off, but that’s something that has not happened to me before. I let the affected fingernail grow, until the chipped area was long enough to be cut out and the rest of my fingernails reshaped. I have read that there are supplements available that can help with problems involving the nails, skin, or hair (I happen to have some type of issue with all 3 of those, lucky me!). One such supplement, the Biotin Hair & Nail Vitamin from Incite Nutrition, is shown in a photo below:
The bottle contains 200 capsules. The suggested use specified on the label is 1 capsule daily prior to food. Given that info, if used daily, this bottle of supplement should last about 200 days — or for those who like math: 30 days = 1 month | 200/30 = 6.67 … so you’re looking at about 6 months of use out of this bottle (almost 7 months, really). Half a year is quite a long time for the bottle to run out and get yourself a new supply! That amounts to savings, I think.
As far as supplement data, this Incite Nutrition Biotin supplement contains 10,000 mcg of Biotin and 176mg of Calcium (as Calcium Carbonate), according to the label.
By the way, the manufacturer label states that the capsules are made of “veggie” — so vegetarians can take this supplement too. I have looked up some of the ingredients on the label and see vegetable cellulose and rice flour listed. I have a close-up photo of the capsules so you can take a look:
It also boasts being free of dairy and gluten, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and preservatives.
This bottle of supplement from Incite Nutrition is available at Amazon. The last time I checked, it was available at a 71 percent discount. You can read more about it by clicking here.
NOTE: As always, it is best to consult with your primary care physician first before using any supplements. This is especially important if you have a medical condition, currently taking prescribed medications, or have other physical conditions to be monitored. It’s better to be safe!
