It’s easy to use: just put around your waist, snap and click. You’re done! The belt comes with zipped section in the front where you can store some valuables. I actually used this belt on a recent exercise activity with the family. I put the garage door opener inside the compartment and it fit perfectly. I then put the belt around my daughter’s waist and we were ready to go biking. It has an adjustable elastic strap, so after minor tweaks, it was able to fit my 8-yr old daughter’s waist without problem. I was also able to adjust it back so it can fit my waist, as you can see in the photo below. (In case you were wondering, I was wearing a long-sleep shirt due to the cold weather at that time).

The zippered compartment is roughly about 7 inches long. The compartment expands, so it can fit various items such as a set of keys, driver’s license, credit card, cash… or in our case, a garage door opener. If you have a small smartphone, it may fit there as well, depending on what else is already in the compartment. I have a very large 5-inch smartphone, so it did not fit, of course… but a smaller Android phone might work.

The yellow oval-shaped disk that you see in the photo holds the LED light, which is a very nice feature. There’s a clear tab (see photo below) that you need to pull out before use. Don’t forget to do that, or you can push the on/off button off and nothing will happen. I’m assuming the tab is there to save the battery life while it’s in storage in the factory and not in use. The LED light is a neat little addition to add to its safety feature. Press the button and you’ll be surprised with a light that stays on and runs on both sides of the bright neon yellow color in front of the belt. Press it again, and the LED will blink rapidly, alerting vehicles — especially when it’s dark — of your presence. Press it a third time and you will notice that the lights are blinking more slowly. You can just set the blinker to your preference (fast or slow), or if you prefer, just keep it on the whole time. The light is powered by a 3V CR2032 battery, which can be easily replaced.
