Today’s highlight is the AirComfy Inflatable Travel Pillow, which was shipped quickly via Amazon Prime and comes with a 30-day Money-back Guarantee.
The travel pillow comes compressed and rolled inside a sack case, for portability, that is roughly 9-inches long and 4-inches in diameter. The sack comes with an aluminum carabiner, which is useful because you can clip it to anything (like a backpack, for example) when traveling and bring it with you where it’s needed.
When you order from Amazon, you will receive a welcome email from the owners through Amazon. I am a big supporter of family-owned small businesses, so I was happy to read from Alisa and Jared that they are family-owned. The welcome email includes usage instructions, which you can see below. The back of the tag/label which is shown on the first photo contains more specific instructions.
The email says it’s ready to use immediately, so I tested that by taking it out from the case and turning the knob as instructed to allow it to self-inflate. After a few minutes, you can see the results as shown:
That’s not too bad for a few minutes of wait. Whether that works for you or not for immediate use depends on how firm you want your pillow to be. I would like it to be more firmer than that so I left it alone to allow more time for self-inflation. The welcome instructions did say that it may require some time to have more expansion, which is especially the case if it’s been compressed and kept in storage for quite some time. While waiting, I went ahead and worked on some online projects received from my After5PC.net business. When I came back a couple of hours later, I noticed that the travel pillow definitely gained more inflation.
Here’s a view from the top:
Again, every person is different. If you prefer it firmer, you can always blow on the tube to increase the inflation of the air chambers. I gave it a try, and this is what I got:
It’s decent, considering it’s an air pillow. The shape allows your head to stay in place (if you use it as a pillow for your head). You can also put it behind your chair for back support, if that’s what your looking for.
I can see myself bringing this AirComfy Inflatable Travel Pillow along for our family vacations, especially on those long drives. When I don’t need it anymore, I can just simply deflate and store it back on it’s sack and put it away.
UPDATE: I’m just happy to report that about 1 week later, the pillow is still holding air!
