If you are a nurse, a doctor, or a student in the healthcare/medical field, here’s a simple, yet functional, stethoscope that you can use at work or clinical purposes.
It’s the ADC Proscope Nursescope 660, which is one model in their various series of stethoscopes. ADC stands for American Diagnostic Corporation, as shown in the box. There is some assembly required, as you can see in the photo above, but it is not a big deal. Most of the stethoscopes you can purchase at your local medical supply store have to be put together in some way or another. It’s fairly easy. The box comes with easy to follow assembly instructions, which should take you less than a minute to assemble — at least that’s how fast it took me — but then again, I have been in the medical field for several years, in addition to having my After5PC.net online business, so I’ve had experience putting these things together in my healthcare career. However, I can assure you, they’re easy to follow and can be completed rather quickly!
Below is a photo of the stethoscope, fully assembled.
It’s very lightweight, and definitely less bulkier than a different brand I have used in the past. I can tell the difference in weight for sure, so you can roll this up and put in your lab coat or scrub pocket. I prefer the cargo-style scrub pants that have side pockets on the mid-section of the legs, and this will easily fit in there.
The ear tips (see white tips in photo) can be changed to the softer black tips, which is given as an extra.
The ADC Proscope Nursescope 660 stethoscope comes in 21 different color choices to fit your style and preference. It costs cheaper than other brands, and it does the work.
I’ll keep this handy with me, as I like to switch around different stethoscopes when having difficulty with auscultation.
