This is an interesting piece of eye-wear that I’ve never seen before. I’m referring to the i-Design ID1004 Aviator Sunglasses.

I say interesting because it has no screws. Everything is held in place using a simple tension-type of system. It’s hard to explain, but take a look at a close-up below for an example of what I mean.

Indeed, the way they have designed this requires no screws at all! Interesting, right? I’ve never seen anything like this before, so this makes it unique. Apparently, this no-screws design is original from France.

By the way, the i-Design ID1004 Aviator Sunglasses is an aviator-type of sunglass. If you like Ray Bans but can’t afford the extremely high costs of owning one, then this can be an alternative to consider.

One thing that I like about it is that the i-Design ID1004 Aviator Sunglasses is lightweight. I can actually tell the difference in weight between my old sunglasses and this one, and this one is significantly lighter. The eye pieces are made of what appears to be a thin lens material (which, in addition to the frame, probably contributes to the decreased weight) and appear highly-polished.

When you purchase this, it will come with the following accessories: a black case (uses a magnetic lock) embossed with their logo, a carrying bag/case for additional protection, and a cleaning cloth to keep those eyepieces clean and shiny.

There are 2 color choices available — grey and black. I picked the grey aviator sunglasses. It was actually my oldest daughter that chose this color for me when I was placing my order. I was leaning more towards the other color, but she was so excited to get involved with the ordering process that I didn’t want to disappoint. I’m a sucker dad, I know.
