I am definitely glad (and my wife is happy too!) to add this Ohuhu Leather Belt Hole Puncher (pictured below) in our possession.
You can probably relate to this… but have you ever had a belt were you wish you can add another hole so you make have a tighter hold? This is kinda “cheezy” but I used to use the sharp edge of a scissor or knive to cut myself another hole. If you’ve ever done what I have done, then you would know that the resulting hole never looked good! It doesn’t give a clean cut, looks funny, and just made you look poorer than you already were — since everybody can tell you just cut a hole yourself instead of buying a new belt! LOL
Not only does the resulting hole not look very professional, but it was also a struggle attempting to push the tip of the scissor or knife through the tough leather belt!
With the Ohuhu Leather Belt Hole Puncher, you can achieve a cleaner punch cut with less of the struggle. It’s got 6 available punch settings, with varying hole sizes. Each is labeled with a number (as shown above), but I don’t really know what that amounts to specifically as far as metric measurement is concerned, since I’m not a professional belt maker by trade (= I do know that the holes get bigger or smaller with each given number, and that’s good enough for me.
Before using it, make sure you choose the right hole setting first by eyeballing the size of the hole on your current belt. Once you find the right setting, turn the screw to loosen up the “setting holder” (for lack of a better word) so that you can turn the punch to the right setting (follow direction of the arrow, see pic in one of the above photos). There is a groove in each setting so that you can lock the setting in place. You can then use the screwdriver to tighten up the screw again. If you did it right, then the hole punch should be perpendicular to the metal plate on the bottom when you squeeze the device.
The Ohuhu Leather Belt Hole Puncher looks like a ‘manly’ tool, but it’s useful for anyone. I know my wife was happy to have it!
If you’re tired of using knives and scissors like me and want to achieve a more professional “new” hole so that you don’t have to buy a new belt (and save money), then the Ohuhu Leather Belt Hole Puncher is something to consider buying. It is currently available on Amazon at a 50 percent discount at the time of this writing.
